Out for Lunch

We had lunch with Uncle John today. He works too much so we haven't seen much of him since he moved here. But, today, he had the day off so we got together for burgers at the Ferry Building. Good times.

Hanging at Golden Gate Park Children's Playground

We had lunch today with the Shaffer's at Social Kitchen and then we all went to the park to play. T loved running around and going down the slides with Daddy, but still doesn't like the swing. It might be that he's scared of things he doesn't have control over. Here's proof of his swing dislike.

There is a cool carousel that Daddy took him on. As was the case in Vegas, he was initially scared but started to get the hang of it toward the end. Maybe next time he'll fully enjoy it. Here he is trying to get off.

Thanks Ben (and Auntie Tami and Uncle Brian) for hanging out! T had so much fun that he was wiped out even before we got to the car. :)

When He's Sleepy He's Sleepy

Most mornings, after T finishes his (sometimes second) breakfast with Anna, he'll hang out in his highchair while Anna does the dishes. She'll chat with him and he'll babble back. The other morning was a little different. Anna was chatting with T when she suddenly realized he'd stopped babbling back. When she went to check on him, this is what she saw.

It seems waking up at 445am (yes, REALLY early) made him ready for his nap earlier than usual. :)

At the Park With His Car

Pictures of T at the park playing with his toy car. He really is a boy. :)

Thanks, Anna, for the pictures!

Mama Got a New Toy

Mommy recently upgraded her phone and got the IPhone. It's a pretty amazing piece of equipment. We've Skyped with Obachama and Jiji in Japan and Lolo and Lola in the Philippines. And, thanks to an app, it seems we'll be able to update this blog more frequently. This is the test.

Here's T at AT&T Park trying out his baseball skills.

How does the picture look?

And here's a video taken of him devouring a lemon on Valentines day.

Not bad. This app seems easy to use so now we can keep everyone posted real time if we want to. Yea!

Caught in the Act

He may appear sweet, but our little guy has a little mean side that we need to work on. Or, maybe it's just an obsession with hair. Neither reason is any excuse for his hair pulling problem. Nope, he doesn't pull his own hair (that would be a problem too, but less so), he likes to pull other people's hair. Any suggestions on making him stop would be appreciated.

Check out this video that Auntie Sawako took. T's fast! And, he seems obliviously to Emi's, and William's, distress. Sorry, Emi!
