Partying by Himself

Tyler went to his first drop off birthday party and had a blast.

His classmate, Maya, had her 4th birthday party at My Gym in San Carlos tonight. Being that it's Friday evening, Daddy wasn't going to be home early enough to watch Emma, but we were told kids could be dropped off so we ran the idea by T and he was game.

I was still a little concerned that he might not want me to leave when we got there, but the minute we arrived he was ready to play. He left my side with just a quick bye.

Poor Emma. She wanted to also stay and play but instead we went to check out the nearby Korean restaurant. The food was pretty good, Emma loved it, and we learned to play some new games together. It was a nice date.

When we went back to pick T up the party had been extended by about 30 minutes and the kids were just sitting for cake. Of course, Emma wanted some, and T was happy to share. He was also happy to leave half his cake to go back and play. Emma was in heaven. She didn't care to play, she just wanted cake.

Party crasher. :)

It's nice to watch T becoming an independent guy, making friends, and enjoying them. He's a pretty social kid and I hope he always stays that way.

T's Wishlist

T and I went on a date today to Target :). He had a fever (101.3 but otherwise fine except for a cough) so he got to skip school (the school wants kids to be symptom free for at least 24 hours). So, while Emma was at school, we did some window shopping.

With the holidays and his birthday around the corner we decided to start an Amazon wish list for him. Not that he needs anything on the list - it was really more of a way to pass the time while we were at Target without him wanting to take something home. It was fun looking at toys and scanning them in.

Definitely a good way to pass the time without getting anything. And a way to motivate him to do things - incentives. :)

But, more importantly, it was fun hanging out with just T. It's been awhile since we did that since he has been in school. We are going to have to have another date again soon.

Super Lola

The other night we went to Pacifica to celebrate Uncle Ramir's birthday (Happy birthday!). Since I knew we would stay late, I packed the kids PJs so they could bathe there and head straight to bed when we got home.

Lola offered to give the kids, including Cobi, a bath. 1 adult, 3 kids. She is Super Lola. :)

Thank you Lola for being so great!

Pajama Day for T

It was "Pajama Day" at school for T. Since yesterday was Halloween, the assumption was kids would be up late so to make everyone comfortable and happy the kids got to where their pajamas.

T wore the pajamas he wore the night before to school (except for the bottoms which got dirty before we left home). He was excited.

Here are a few pics of him at school in his PJs.
