T is talking more and more each day. The way he speaks is cute. And he likes to say everything is cute. Including his boogers. :)
But, the cutest thing about the way he speaks is when he says, "Ummmm..." before answering a question. Ask him what flavor ice cream he got and he says, "Ummmm.... Chocolate." or anything.
It's cute. :). I really need to record it.

Climber
Emma is a climber. She will try to get to the top of just about anything. But her favorite object to climb is T's step stool. She can get to the top all by herself and loves it. If you take her down she gets mad and then goes right back up. This girl now requires constant attention for her own safety.
Oh, and she stood by herself for a couple of seconds 2 days ago....

Shower Time!
Lately, T has been taking more showers than baths. Emma is a little squirmy goose in the tub so it's hard to bathe them at the same time. So, Emma gets a bath and goes to bed and then T takes a shower and goes to bed. He's not complaining. He's enjoying his showers. :)

The Friendliest Kid on the Block
T might just be the friendliest kid at the park. He says "Hi!" to EVERYONE and he'll find someone he likes and go up to him/her with his toy and give it to him/her, wanting to share. It's really great seeing him so friendly and generous, but at the same time, it makes me a little sad because kids, especially the younger ones, aren't very receptive to his enthusiasm. And, when they don't respond, he tries a little too hard and gets into the other kid's personal space. It breaks my heart to see him ignored, but at the same time we are working on teaching him to respect "personal space." He just needs to learn balance.
I hope he never loses his loving personality as he gets older though - it really is awesome. =)

Good Morning from My Big Boy Bed!

Now He's Really a Big Boy

Yup- T is now in a full size bed. And, it is big for a boy who's still not that big. Maybe we will take a picture of him in bed on his birthday every year and watch how he grows.
Unfortunately, he didn't let me take a better picture of him. I think he is having mixed feelings about the bed. We have been reading to him in our bed before bedtime but decided with his new bed that we will start doing his sleep routine in his room. He wasn't happy about it so I offered to stay in his room for a little longer than usual once it was lights out. Once we finished reading, Daddy turned the lights off, turned on Scout (his bed time music), his sound machine, and night light and I tried to lie in bed with him. He wasn't happy. We thought he wanted Daddy in bed too so Daddy came in but he still wasn't happy. What he wanted was for both of us to leave. Huh?
I guess he really is a big boy now. My baby is all grown up.
