Still Napping

There will be a day soon when T will no longer need a nap. It is slowly happening - there are afternoons when he stays in our room (where he naps) for a given period of time and rolls around trying to sleep hoping to earn 2 sticks (10 minutes of game time). But, thankfully, most days he still sleeps and I love seeing his peaceful, sleeping face. :)

Emma the Goat Whisperer

Emma likes animals, but mostly from afar. Except for goats. She will eagerly pet them and feed them. She has had a couple occasions of encountering "hungry" goats and has gotten a little scared, but it hasn't stopped her from going back. 

This is from Saturday at Happy Hollow. I think she would have been happy hanging out with the goats all day.

First Day of Pre-K

Another school year has started for T. He was super excited to be back at Merry Moppet and become a pre-kindergartener.

Here he is with Emma, ready to go.

Emma's First Day of School 2014

I didn't get a proper picture, but here is Emma changing into her "uwabaki" (indoor shoes) at school. Not smiling, but definitely not crying. Huge improvement from last year. :)
