Our little lady is starting to be quite chatty and has picked up a few words.
Her favorites are: "uh oh" (in a deep, husky voice);"this" (pointing to whatever it is she wants); "hiiiii" (all stretched out); and "up" (when she wants to be carried).
While we were in Japan (we just got back yesterday so will post about it another time), she would point to pictures of T at Obachama and Jiji's house and say, "Ty Ty." She also started to say, "Mama" and "Dada," and was calling Obachama's dog, Kotaro, "Koko."
If you say "bye" to her she will wave the beauty pageant wave (all in the wrist) and if you say "arigato" she will bend her knees and give a little bow.
She's really growing into a person and I think she'll be talking in no time. :)
